The Canberra Liberals are pleased with the introduction of the bus route 202, a non-stop bus service from Gungahlin to the City as part of the new Network 14, Shadow Minister for Transport Alistair Coe said today.
“Although route 202 is restricted to just five services in the morning, it is a worthwhile experiment which I am hopeful will be a success,” Mr Coe said.
“The key challenge of public transport is ensuring frequency, reliability and fast services. The introduction of route 202 should make the commute from Gungahlin faster.
“Whilst there are some changes brought in with Network 14 which are problematic, 202 is a welcome change for public transport in the ACT,” Mr Coe concluded.
