It’s great to congratulate my Canberra Liberals colleague Giulia Jones who is a finalist at the Women’s Agenda Leadership Awards in Sydney tomorrow, Leader of the Opposition Jeremy Hanson said today.
“Tomorrow’s awards are the 4th Annual Women’s Agenda Leadership Awards and Giulia is a finalist for the Emerging Leader in Government category,” Mr Hanson said.
“As Shadow Minister for Women, Multicultural Affairs, Emergency Services and Mental Health, Giulia has been a role model for younger women interested in politics and a true advocate for the advancement of women, particularly in the workplace.
“I am thrilled to see Giulia selected as a finalist in the Women’s Agenda Awards. It highlights her absolute commitment to promote the rights of women to earn and establish themselves professionally as well as have the children and family they want.
“I’m grateful for women like Giulia and our other women candidates, who work to improve the lives of women they represent,” Mr Hanson concluded.
