Shadow Minister for Public Sector Management

Born in South Africa, Candice emigrated to Australia with her family at a young age. She grew up in Sydney, before moving to Canberra to study at ANU. Like so many before her, she fell in love with our great city and have made it her home.

After completing a Bachelor of Economics and Bachelor of Arts, Candice joined the Australian Public Service. Most recently, she worked at the Department of Finance, contributing to the development of six Federal Budgets across a broad range of policy areas. I am in the process of completing my Master of Business Administration.

As a Liberal, Candice strongly believe in freedom, individual liberty, personal responsibility, and small government. She believe that government should improve, rather than hinder, your day to day life. Candice believes that Canberrans deserve greater choice in how we live our lives.

How many times does it take for the Government to get the bus network right?

This is not the network Canberrans were promised 14 months ago.

After more than a year of "public transport chaos", according to shadow transport minister Candice Burch, the ACT government will introduce a "significant" public transport update on July 18.

Green space is so important, for our environment and for our mental health 🌳🌳🌳

A @CanberraLibs Government will guarantee that you have accessible and well-maintained green space within a 10 minute walk from home!
