Students and staff at Mother Teresa School in Harrison will benefit from the extended administration area and staff facilities thanks to $600,000 in funding from the Liberal-National Government.
Senator for the ACT, Zed Seselja, officially opened the new facility yesterday on behalf of the Minister for Education Dan Tehan.
“It was great to visit Mother Teresa School and see the new facilities firsthand and the impact they will have on the school community,” Senator Seselja said.
Senator Seselja said students and the whole school community would benefit from these new facilities.
“These new facilities are contemporary in design and take into account the requirements of the staff, the students and the broader school community. The building provides areas to work efficiently and productively and displays a vibrant, friendly working environment.”
“This is part of our commitment to ensuring students have the support they need to succeed in the classroom.”
“Students and teachers thrive when their schools have modern and up-to-date facilities – that’s why I’m proud to have secured capital grant program funding for schools across the ACT since elected.”
“I am also proud that the Liberal-National Government is delivering record funding to government and non-government schools across the ACT.”
