Nurses victims of Labor’s $3 billion debt bomb

Canberra nurses are victims of Labor’s $3 billion debt bomb, Shadow Health Minister Vicki Dunne said.
After 19 years of repeated financial mismanagement, Canberra nurses working overtime have effectively been handed a pay cut to help pay off Labor’s debt bomb.
“Our nurses work incredibly long hours in stressful conditions. Their tireless efforts are not always appreciated by this long-serving government which continually expects them to do more with less,” Mrs Dunne said.
“For years, nurses have been stretched thin due to chronic understaffing.
“This will be a major blow to morale, which is already very low,” Mrs Dunne said.
