Born in South Africa, Candice emigrated to Australia with her family at a young age. She grew up in Sydney, before moving to Canberra to study at ANU. Like so many before her, she fell in love with our great city and have made it her home.

After completing a Bachelor of Economics and Bachelor of Arts, Candice joined the Australian Public Service. Most recently, she worked at the Department of Finance, contributing to the development of six Federal Budgets across a broad range of policy areas. I am in the process of completing my Master of Business Administration.

As a Liberal, Candice strongly believe in freedom, individual liberty, personal responsibility, and small government. She believe that government should improve, rather than hinder, your day to day life. Candice believes that Canberrans deserve greater choice in how we live our lives.

We are committed to getting kids to school quickly and safely (...unlike the ALP! 😡)

Despite serious reliability problems identified in the electric bus trial, the Barr Government is continuing to invest in electric buses. When will Canberrans finally get the reliable bus network you deserve?

The Barr Government continues to virtue signal, while trying to gloss over many serious problems. But Canberrans are noticing and the gloss is starting to wear off.
