Hayune moved to Australia from South Korea at the age of 17, determined to make the most of Australia's opportunities to prosper from hard work and also to give back as part of a vibrant community.
Working in hospitality management Hayune learned to understand the challenges faced by small business owners and also the hard-working teams they employ. Currently Hayune is a capability analyst in the public service, building on study at both the University of Canberra and the ANU, from which she holds a Masters degree.
Actively involved in the Canberra community through various community and volunteer groups, Hayune has called Canberra home since 2011 and believes that the values of many migrants, and indeed all Australians, naturally align with the values of the Liberal Party.
With a strong belief in a representative government that values the views of ordinary Australians and is focused on efficient administration, long-term planning, and prudent financial management, Hayune has a particular focus on ensuring infrastructure development both nationally and in Canberra.
