Member for Molonglo Giulia Jones will again put to the Assembly this Wednesday the concerns of the community regarding the derelict petrol station sites in 13 suburbs across Canberra.
“The Government spent so much time in the last sitting week talking about how wonderful they are, that there was no time to discuss the real state of our suburbs,” said Mrs Jones.
“This Government is so focused on their plan for the City to the Lake that they have forgotten about the front door to the bus stop.
“The Minister may consider petrol station sites to be unimportant but to the people of the 13 suburbs that have waited years for sites to be rejuvenated, this matters a lot.
“I will keep fighting to improve the daily lives of Canberrans,” Mrs Jones concluded.
