Nick Tyrrell is the Liberal Senate candidate for the ACT.
Nick is a long-time Canberra resident and local business leader. His work and community involvement has deeply connected him to the city.
Since founding his electric boat business on Lake Burley Griffin in 2017, Nick has helped shape one of Canberra’s most recognisable small business success stories. His environmentally-friendly tourism venture is now operating in four states but proudly headquartered in the ACT.
Nick lives south-side with his partner and their two young children. Nick has made Canberra home and is committed to its future. He has helped bring life to Canberra’s waterfront, promoted Canberra interstate and internationally, and created local jobs.
As a former senior adviser in government, Nick’s experience extends beyond business. He wants to contribute to the community that backed him. He is fighting for policies that make life better for local families, small businesses, and first-home buyers.
Nick is fighting for practical reform. He wants to tackle housing affordability, give families childcare choice, and ensure the national capital gets the investment it deserves.
Nick’s story, from growing up in a working-class family to building a successful local enterprise, reflects his belief in hard work, opportunity, and community.
Nick is fighting for Canberrans, to make this city an even better place to live, work, and raise a family.
