Labor and the Greens have a track record of failing to deliver the critical health infrastructure our growing city needs, Shadow Minister for Health Giulia Jones said today.
“Recent government briefs have revealed an impending shortfall of hospital capacity in our growing north,” Mrs Jones said.
“Now, the long-promised expansion to the Women’s and Children’s Hospital at the Canberra Hospital in the south is being further delayed.
“This is in addition to the massive delays we are seeing to the SPIRE project and comes only weeks after the Chief Minister revealed he had a ‘degree of concern’ over his capacity to deliver his major infrastructure election commitments.
“It’s time for Labor and the Greens to stop talking about hospital expansions and start actually delivering them,” Mrs Jones concluded.
