James Milligan will replace Alistair Coe as Liberal MLA for Yerrabi, following the casual vacancy countback at the Legislative Assembly today.

Canberra Liberals Leader, Elizabeth Lee, said she was excited to have the experience of Mr Milligan returning to the Legislative Assembly.

“On behalf of the Canberra Liberals, I congratulate and welcome James back to our team,” said Ms Lee.

“James brought plenty of passion and enthusiasm to his electorate and shadow portfolios last term. The connections he was able to make and the voices he was able to represent was significant.

“James brings not only experience he gained as an MLA, but also his small business background and strong work in the community.

“I have no doubt James will hit the ground running and pick up where he left off,” Ms Lee concluded.
